Respect
We respect everyone’s right to self-determination. We do not make assump-tions about another person’s gender, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics. We treat each other with respect.
Listen
Even with good intentions, our actions may still hurt others. We believe people when they tell us that something is offensive or disturbing to them.
Give space
Everyone has bodily autonomy. We do not touch others without permission. We do not comment on or judge other people’s appearance.
Learn from mistakes
We welcome feedback and are willing to change our behaviour. We apologize if we have hurt others.
Take action
Everyone has the right to receive help. Everyone also has a responsibility to intervene in harassment and discrimination in a way that feels appropriate and safe for them.
