Get to know with the accessibility and arrival information for the Pohjois-Karjala Seta office. Our office and community spaces are alcohol and drug free.
North Karelia Seta office

Arrival
The office is located in a building with the entrance on Torikatu street. There are disc parking spaces along the street, and free parking is available in the adjacent Citymarket parking garage on weekdays after 4 PM and on weekends.
Toimistotilat
The main entrance door is open until 7 PM. If the door is locked, press the doorbell located on the left side of the door. The entrance door width is 110 cm.
The office is located on the second floor. Other organizations also operate in the same premises, such as Joensuu Multicultural Association Jomoni and the KVTL Inclusion.
The building has an elevator, which can be used, for example, with a wheelchair or stroller. The elevator door width is 90 cm.
The office door is open when groups are meeting. If the door is locked, ring the doorbell next to the door.
An accessible toilet is available in the premises. The toilet door width is 82 cm. All toilet facilities are gender-neutral.
Group meeting space
The group meeting space, Tuutikki, is located within the office premises. The width of the group room door is 106 cm, and the threshold height is 2.1 cm.
Only guide and assistance dogs or animals are allowed in the group space. Dogs may occasionally visit other areas of the premises, but they are not permitted in the group room.
General
At present, there is no hearing loop (T-coil system) available. The lighting in the space can be adjusted for people with visual impairments.
We aim to keep the space fragrance-free, so please avoid using scented products such as perfumes, aftershaves, strongly scented hair products, and hand creams. Unscented or mildly scented cleaning products are used in the office. Hand soaps are unscented.
If you have symptoms of a cold or stomach illness, we ask that you avoid visiting the premises.
We follow safer space principles in our facilities.
You can always ask your group facilitator or the association’s staff for more information about accessibility. There are three steps in front of the main entrance. A ramp can be provided to make access easier. If you need a ramp, please request it in advance from a staff member or your group facilitator.

5. kerros
Joensuun Setlementin toimitilat ovat osittain esteettömät. Tiloihin on esteetön kulku Siltakadun puolelta. Ovi löytyy Uuden Apteekin ja Burger King -pikaruokaravintolan välistä. Sisäeteisessä on luiska, joka johtaa hissille. Luiska voi olla liian jyrkkä itsenäiseen käyttöön. Hissiin mahtuu yksi pyörällinen apuväline käyttäjän kanssa kerrallaan. Hissin luota on alle 1,5 metrin kulku toimitilojemme ovelle 5. kerroksessa. Toimitiloissamme on kaksi WC-tilaa, joista kumpikaan ei ole täysin esteetön. Huoneiden oviaukoissa on kynnykset, jotka ovat kuitenkin alle 25 mm korkeita, joten niiden yli pääsee pyörällisillä apuvälineillä.
